Liliana Rodriguez was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is a first generation Mexican-American who graduated from Grossmont College with an associates degree in musical theatre. Liliana began performing at the age of six, with a very enthusiastic manner, to say the least. Growing up in Chicago, she was part of a program called GOTS or Get Off The Street kids, it encouraged minorities students to immerse themselves in the arts and stay off the streets. There, she learned how to sing, dance, act, tumble, play the piano and teach. She is now Los Angeles and New York based . She is a Coronado High School of the Arts teacher artist. Liliana has played a variety of roles from Velma in Chicago to Carla in In The Heights. She is incredibly thankful to have started working at a young age and is even more hopeful for the future. She takes pride of her positive energy in the workspace. Liliana’s true passion is performing and wants to be a strong, powerful Latina in the industry.
